Unfortunately the Channel also does nothing with my Medion Akoya X54000 Multi-Touchscreen  Cry

(The screen works perfectly on Win7.)

Edit: Tested with 4.3 until now, but it works fine with 4.3.2!

Successfully tested with Acer T230H.

My suggestions if you encounter problems:

  • Verify that standard Win7 API is supported on your system, e.g. by testing the Microsoft Touch Pack for Windows 7 demos.
  • Slow down, lift fingers. You may be spoiled by smartphones with low screen resolution.
  • Check the number returned in the line "Gesture = ", refer to UserInputGesture_Notes.pdf for explanation.
  • Use the latest Quest3D Version 4.3.2 to test Gesture2Dtest.cgr. It does not work on earlier releases!
  • Open the debug window before loading the cgr an note the feedback there.  Again, monitor the result of the call to UserInputGesture.
  • Publish as exe and as Installer. Check results.
