Due to the memory restictions of windowsxp 32bit I'm considering moving to the 64bit platform.
Are there any known issues with Quest3D 4.x running on WinXP 64bit, eg. is WinXP 64bit officialy supported?

Keep in mind that Quest3D ist compiled for 32bit systems. You woun't have that much of an advantage over x86.

I understand Quest3D doesn't benefit from the 64bit environment, but other software does. It's enough for me if Quest3D runs correctly in 32bit mode on the winxp 64bit platform. Is this the case or are there compatability issues involved?

no problems under vista sp1 64bit

make sure you use latest drivers.

the 174 drivers are very good. The older drivers caused sometimes problems

vista 64bit

xp 64 bit
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp64_174.74.html

they are even WHQL now

Same thing here. But I'm still working without any issues or problems on version 169.25 Smiley
