Title: receive text string from serial port
Post by: cemkirlangic on April 30, 2014, 12:11:39 pm
hello there,

i have an electronic card which pushes text string (e.g. 1,0,1,0,1,0,0.35\r\n)to com port. sending data working nice. but i coudn't receive that text from the serial port. id woud be nice if there is an option such as "receive text from port" under serial command channel like "send text to port" option

any suggestion will be appreciated.

thanks in advance.

p.s.: dear act3d! why did you stop developing quest3d. why? just one single plausible reason, just one!

Donít expect any updates on the Serial Command. Consider using a Virtual Serial Port (http://www.hw-group.com/products/hw_vsp/index_en.html) instead. Then connect to Quest3D via well established TCP or UDP custom channels.
